Green Streets Art Contest Sponsorship Opportunity
Greetings from Green Streets!Announcing an excellent sponsorship opportunity for Green Streets Initiative's “Celebrate Walk Ride Day with the MBTA” Poster Contest!
This past spring, Green Streets Initiative and the MBTA, held an art contest for local artists to submit poster designs that portray Walk/Ride Day and taking the T as sustainable and healthy transportation choices. We are honored to announce the three winners from our three different prize categories. Their designs will grace the advertising spaces of MBTA train and bus cars for May and June, 2013 - to be seen by the MBTA’s 1.3 million daily riders!
We are now announcing a call to our corporate, community, and organization partners to sponsor a winner. A $1500 naming title sponsorship will secure your company’s name and logo to frame one of the winning poster designs:
Professional/Amateur Category - Amy McGregor-Radin, Newton, MA
College/University Category - Matt Greil, Mount Ida College (Sponsorship for this artwork has already been taken)
K-12 Category - Eaton Veiga, 2nd grader at Boston’s Russell Elementary School (Sponsorship for this artwork has already been taken)
Your sponsorship will not only afford your company excellent visibility on the MBTA, but covers the printing costs of a designs. Please let us know if your organization would like to be added to this joint venture with Green Streets and the MBTA. This contest bridges the art, transportation, health, corporate, and environmentally conscious communities in a public and celebratory way. It also complements the Boston area's concurrent Walk/Ride Day Corporate Challenge, involving tens of thousands of commuters from April through October, 2013.
Please note that sponsorship is on a first come, first served basis - if you want to secure your logo on a specific design, get in touch with us today!
