A Chance to Thank Your Neighbors for Shoveling This Winter
Block after block, many of our neighbors put in many hours shoveling and sanding sidewalks this winter. Their work ensures that those who live, work, play, shop and go to school in Somerville and Cambridge can easily and safely walk.
Recognize their role in keeping Somerville and Cambridge moving all year round by nominating a block in your neighbohood for the "Best Shoveled Block" contests in either city. Do you live on a Best Shoveled Block yourself? You can nominate your own block and neighbors!
Nominations are due on February 25th, Walk/Ride Day. Winners and community members will be invited to an awards celebration on March 25th, Walk/Ride Day.
